Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city

Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria are expanding outreach in Vienna, speaking with young people, parents and teachers through public information points and event-based activities. Led locally by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative relies on “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in this Scientology Europe report.

Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also supporting teachers seeking prevention tools for schools. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: news euros “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
